![]() There's a screw inside the left grip that adjusts tension on a plate that secures the safety. ![]() Washed in hot soapy water, rinsed with hot water, blew dry with my compressor, and reassembled lubing critical wear points and wiping down with MILITEC 1. ![]() Then I brushed all the nooks and crannies with some small brushes and then blasted them good with Brake Kleen. I tossed all the big parts in that and let then soak for about 2 hours. In my stack of stuff I have almost a full gallon can with the little basket of the Berryman's Chem-Dip carb cleaner. Inside all of that was grossly dirty too. It basically just floats in a small cavity behind the right grip. Removing the right grip allows the slide stop/release and it's uber tiny spring to come out. Took both grips off and that also entails removing the mag release and spring that are retained in position by a guide pin that passes through the butt for the grips to align on too.
